WARNING: DO NOT READ BEFORE SCYTHE (BOOK 1)
Author: Neal Shusterman
Release Date: January 9th,2018
Summary: After the thrilling and, intriguing 1st book in the scythe series, scythe Anastasia is gleaning alongside scythe Curie as a junior scythe. Yet she is much more influential than just a junior scythe her methods are different, some agree with them, but those who don't are starting to hurt her. The thunderhead cannot protect her, but can it find a loophole?
Rowan is living a life on the run, but he still hears the rumors of a scythe by the name Lucifer, who does not glean civilians but rather other scythes. The gleanings done by him though, do show a pattern of not being the most honorary scythes. Will Rowan and Citrus paths cross once more?
RATING: 9.1/!0
Why: Considering this was a sequel, I think that it was good, and it definitely had enough drama and action, but I think that more than anything it set up the scene for the final book. Though that was not all it did, you were able to form a deeper connection with certain characters and even get to know new ones, in a finely crafted way, of confusion. Overall the plot was good but yet most of it occurred at the end and I think that could make you like or at least anticipate the next book.
Am I Reading The Final Book?: YES! As said above the sequel really left me on a cliffhanger, as it did for everyone, so how could I not read the next one!? If you have read it...YOU KNOW!
