A Short Review: Scythe

Summary: In this dystopian world, humankind has concerned all, even death, all misery has been taken out of the picture. That is unless you have a scythe knocking on your door, you will be immortal. Scythes are those who kill at random so the population does not rise too quickly, Rowan and Citra are both chosen to apprentice, to become what neither wants, to be a scythe.

MY RATING: 10/10

Why: Neal Shusterman, did a wonderful job of keeping the plot going with suspense but also, by really putting you in the world making you consider what would happen if that goal was accomplished. By doing so, you are really able to develop a bond with certain characters, meaning that you really take any plot twists or emotional and physical damage to heart for them.

It's a series...am I reading the next one?: Definitely I have already checked it out from the library! I really want to know what happens next!
