Author: Andy Weir

Release Date: May 4, 2021

Summary: Ryland Grace, has always been fascinated by science which is part of the reason he was a junior high science teacher. But that is not what he is when he wakes up in the middle of space, bolting through the universe at near the speed of light with his 2 dead comrades. As he begins to remember why he is on the ship and what his mission is he starts to discover things that no human has before. In this astonishing novel Weir, answers the question: Could it be possible there are other life forms?

RATING: 9.8/10

Why: I personally really enjoyed this novel as I think many did. It truly made me think about what we would do should earth start to die? Though I am fascinated by space, I think that this book could be for anyone, not only due to how much suspense and curiosity the author creates but the bonds he shows, that span across galaxies. The only drawback was that the style of the book was written almost like journal entries (which I liked, you may not). In addition, there were quite a few parts that were confusing due to the science aspect of the book.

He Has Released Another Book...Am I Reading It?: I Personally really enjoyed this book, and do not think, I will be reading The Martian because a lot of people have said that it was not great, and the movie was better (which I have seen). Artemis his other book also looked good, but I think that for now, I am going to read other things.
