Summary: August is new to New York City, she has switched colleges and majors too many times to count, but she sees this as a fresh start. She would have never guessed that she could fall in love on her daily subway commute until she meets Jane. Jane is always there in her red converse and 70s punk jacket, and it's not until august starts to notice that Janes being there is almost impossible because she is right out of the 70s like displaced in time. So as August's subway crush starts to turn into more of a investigation, the thing she least wants, she must overcome her past and usual ways to save the "Subway girl".
RATING:9.6/10
Why?: This book was most certainly phenomenal and, completely enticing, the story's plot and the idea of it was fascinating the Mcquiston made it sexy and romantic, through the journeys that the characters made. August's character truly was a work of art, and her journey too, her perspective change on accepting love, was definitely relatable and amazing due to the way it was written. Though this book was amazing after reading Red, White, and Royal blue it just could not compare, but still a wonderfully romantic book!
