Author: Alex Michaelides

Relase Date: Febuary 5th 2019

Summary: After Alicia is found in her living room, with blood on her fingers and her husband's body found at her side, she never speaks again. Not at her trial, not at the physiatric hospital where she is taken after, nowhere. Yet will things change when her new therapist, starts to work with her? A man who has his own problems but yet still is a physiatric therapist.

Rating: 10/10

Why: This book has had a lot of hype around it, and I think that it is definitely worth it. The story is told from the therapist's (Theo's) perspective, this definitely surprised me but I like the way it was told. The character development moved along with the plot through his eyes because you were able to come up with only the suspicions he had as he "investigated" her past. Not only this but it was a truly intriguing storyline, very creative and executed well, as a thriller and murder mystery.

He Has Released Another Book...Am I Reading It?: No I am not, I read the summary and I think that it is to similar to the Silent Patient, and it is told again by a therapist, and while I liked it this time I think that it would lose it's interesting to me.
